Chapter 13. Arcan

Where Eileen took Raynan, there was a half-alive Lennox, the Arcans, and the Terdona knights who had already been crushed after a few verbal fights.

Raynan burst into laughter at the sight.

“You freed the Lennoxes?”

“You freed them!”

One of the knights shouted and stood up, his body weak.

“Since when did the work that the knights of Arcan become our responsibility?”

Raynan had heard the whole situation as he came.

The Arcans who had been entrusted with the surveillance of Lennox were annoyed and left the work to the knights of Terdona. Anyways, they were no different from a burden.

The problem was that Lennox, who had been captured, was a man who knew how to use charms. He had managed to escape by attacking the guards with pheromones that could charm one or two humans.

“Three humans can’t even handle a single Lennox. When you go to Arcan, you’ll be a plaything for our people.” 

Raynan let out a sarcastic laugh at Eileen’s words.

“Hah!”

The so-called imperial knights are so weak. With their strength, they can just wipe out numerous humans at any time. He barely suppressed his anger that was about to boil over as he watched those who were glaring at him.

However, one knight, unable to control his anger, raised his voice at Raynan.

“Do all the Arcans know how to intimidate and push people with their great power? As the crown prince of Arcan, you treat us like this. You will live in the wrath of Terdona in the future!”

Eileen knocked the knight down and put her foot on his chest. Her face was cold and sank.

“I guess you still think Terdona is the strongest on the continent.”

She pressed her foot on the knight’s chest as if she was extinguishing a cigarette.

“The country you take such pride in sold its one and only princess to us. What are you talking about as a mere knight?”

“How dare you! Don’t you know that spewing such nonsense at Terdona is a great sin!”

“Is that so? I wonder how big the sin is…. Would I die? But you know. It’s funny to talk about sins according to your rules when our next lord is here.”

“Rather, you’re the one who doesn’t know anything! Even if we leave Terdona, we are the pride of Terdona as imperial knights!”

Terdona.

Terdona, Terdona, Terdona.

As that name, which was so disgusting that it made him want to vomit just hearing it, continued to ring in Raynan’s ears. His eyes gradually turned bloodshot. The ugly sight of the knight cursing reminded him of the slave owners who had imprisoned him.

Do they have no pride or shame?

When he first broke the leash and bit the neck of the slave master who had tamed him, he was just like them. The sight of someone who was enjoying Raynan’s pain with a snicker suddenly rolling his eyes and swearing. 

‘Should I kill him?’

But if he did that, he wouldn’t be able to avoid the leader’s wrath.

In order to have smooth communication with Terdona, those squirming, bug-like guys couldn’t die.

His mood became bad. He just wanted to get rid of the unpleasantness that was endlessly burning his body as soon as possible.

‘But I have to guard that princess of Terdona in a place like this.’

As their words grew longer, he covered his face with his hands, closing his ears.

“Hah…… Haa…….”

Gulp- He slid his hand over his face and looked up at the dry sky. When anger engulfed his entire body, there was only one way.

When he trampled on corpses and covered his entire body with blood and endless screams, he couldn’t think of anything. As if that was his mission, he lived like that his whole life.

This endless feeling that consumes his body cannot be resolved without doing so.

He knew that it wasn’t the perfect solution but it was always the best choice. When he tries to sit alone in a quiet room to calm down, he feels like something is falling apart.

For a moment, he remembered last night.

That sense of liberation he felt for the first time after sex. That sense of satisfaction from pleasure that could not be compared to anything like battle.

“Yeah! Kill us once! If you were going to kill us, you would have done so already!! Do you think we don’t know that not doing so is no different from proof that you can’t do it?! Kill us, kill us and incur Terdona’s wrath!”

Every word the knight spouted after being pushed out of the absurdity of the Arcans for several days was stuck in Raynan’s ears.

He released the pheromone just like that.

“Eileen, come here.”

Eileen stood behind Raynan.

Each of the beast people are born with different pheromones, but Raynan’s pheromones were the highest class.

“Kok… Keum!”

“Aaaahk!!”

The pheromone of obedience.

When he was young, he often went berserk because he couldn’t handle it himself. But when he grew up and accepted the ability, it became Raynan’s strongest power that no one could stand against.

“You’d better open your ears and listen carefully.”

Raynan kicked one of Terdona’s knights rolling on the floor.

He twisted his lips as he watched him, who was clutching his heart in pain but still had his eyes wide open. Perhaps because of the insult.

“If you bring up Terdona in front of me just once…..”

The concentration of the pheromone became thicker.

“Then I’ll cut off your heads and throw you into Terdona’s castle. Do you think I’d be afraid of war?”

That’s what he’s waiting for the most.

Raynan grinned, showing his teeth.

“Yes, I’m telling you to do well. If you do it wrong, not only your worthless lives, but even the princess in my hands could be in danger, right?”

The knights’ eyes suddenly changed as he mentioned the princess.

Those who seemed like they would rush in even if they died right away hesitated when they thought of Freya. Raynan felt even dirtier at that sight.

Yes, that princess.

This shitty feeling would go away if he held that princess.

The body he had been holding in his arms just now was like a drug. But now that he saw that woman, he felt like he wanted to tear her to pieces.

Raynan averted his gaze and turned around.

It was not time to abandon that woman yet. It was just the beginning, and he couldn’t kill her with his own hands already.

Raynan quickened his pace. Then he shouted at those who were starting to calm down after the commotion.

“We’re going back to Arcan! Get ready to go!”

He should clear his head and stand at the front for a while, soaking his body in the blood of those blocking his view.

Raynan didn’t come.

“… Haa.”

Freya sighed and jumped up from her seat, touching her butt that had been torn apart in the rattling carriage.

“Why aren’t you coming?”

It was definitely perfect at the end?

A normal person… no, a man should definitely come back and finish what he had left off?? How could he finish it like that and not come back?

Freya’s head was filled with questions.

“Are Arcan’s men a little different?”

Can they control their excitement?

She soon collapsed on the carriage and pretended to cry. She didn’t bother changing into her own clothes because they could do it right away when Raynan came back. But now she was wearing her clothes.

She even put her legs out and sat on the floor diagonally to wait for him so that he could see her well.

But the result was that he left without saying anything to her… 

“Haa.”

A deep sigh escaped her. But she quickly shook herself off and got up. 

“Okay. Then I’ll risk everything on the first night.” 

She doesn’t know why he’s suddenly not looking for her. Regardless, she has to train him so well that he can’t live without her on the first night. Ah… Thinking about that day, she’s already excited. Freya was confident, as always. 

And as if living up to her expectations, the Kingdom of Arcan was now visible in the distance.
